Our new 1 Watt LED Modules use a Luxeon equivalent LED for a light output that far surpasses that of standard LEDs. For use where a lot more light is required. Ideal replacement for 5-10w Halogens & Fluorescent Strips.
Each LED is sealed into an aluminium case with Silica Gel making the product splashproof to IP65 standard. Below, a kitchen cabinet illuminated with 3 x 1w LED Modules (in white). The LEDs draw approx 1.3 watts each so the total power consumption for 3 Modules is just 4 watts.
The Modules can be supplied in any number up to 24 in a single chain. There is 8 inches (20cm) of wire joining each Module, depending on your installation you can cut the wire between Modules. For example you could have a chain of 2 Modules in one display cabinet and an extended wire going from the last module in the row to a single module in another cabinet. Ideal for: Cars - Interior or exterior, Work Vans, Under Cabinet Lighting, Ornament Cabinets, Computer Cases, Trailers, Bars, Stairs & Steps, Interior Lights for Boats etc. The 1 Watt LEDs are supplied with 3M self-adhesive padded tape pre-fitted for a quick installation. To calculate how many Modules you need to light an area, measure the total length you intend to light up. Formula: Length to Light in Meters / 245 = Number of Modules required. For example: if you wanted to light under a shelf measuring 1.5 Meters (1500mm) you need to divide 1500 by 245, this would give 6.12, round down to 6. So you would need 6 x 1W Modules. |
