Fiber Optics have traditionally been illuminated by halogen lamps with motorized colour wheels providing around 7 fixed colours. The halogen lamps get very hot and require cooling fans. They also burn out rather quickly and need frequent changing. By using powerful, state of the art LEDs (not Luxeon), a different sort of compact projector has been made possible. As the name suggests the CoolFusion stays relatively cool, is totally silent and can reproduce the full visible spectrum from over two million colours. We have tested the CoolFusion side by side with a 50w Halogen Based projector and the light output for the CoolFusion projector is more intense. The CoolFusion Projector uses less than 1/7th of the power of a 50w halogen based projector! With the saving in electricity and cost of replacement bulbs the CoolFusion could pay for itself in just over 3 years! The comparison is assuming continuous use compared with a 50w halogen based projector, with electricity costing 14 pence per Kilowatt Hour.

CoolFusion can seemlessly sweep through the entire colour
range with the subtle hues and shades between each of the primary colours.
There are literally hundreds of variations for each colour. You want pink no problem, just decide which particular shade that you want, and lock it on that colour - the same goes for any other colour! CoolFusion can be used alone with it's built-in programme or to make things really interesting use it with a ZAP+, or ZEN Controller to give you full sound to light response and complete control over colour palettes and sweeps. The ZAP+ Controller has a built-in microphone to pick up sounds and music, The ZEN Controller has as audio line-in for direct connection to a sound system or mp3 player for accurate music response, control the system wirelessly by using the infra-red remote included. If you don't already own a Fiber Optic System, no problem - we can supply an 80 or 150 Tail Fiber Optic Loom (2, 4, 6 Meter lengths are available) and a choice of plastic end fittings if required.
We have put together several packages (below) for every application. We have listed 2 alternative power supplies separately to suit the installation type. The power supplies are not waterproof so will have to be kept indoors with the 12v cable ran to the CoolFusion, if the power supply has to be used outside then an IP rated enclosure for the power supply will be required. |

CONTROL

ICELED CoolFusion can be used with or without an external controller. A built-in programme allows it to perform a variety of functions simply by connecting to a 12 Volt DC supply. Full easy to follow instructions are included to help you get the best out of the product. |

CoolFusion Digital Fiber Optic Projector - £195, or Outdoor Version (waterproof IP61) £230 Our Fiber Optic looms (below) can only be sold with a CoolFusion. New 150 Tail Loom (i.e 150 lights), add this to the CoolFusion for a Star Ceiling effect. Available in 2 and 4 Meter lengths. The diameter of each tail fiber is 1mm.
CoolFusion Kits We have put together several kit options available below, Indoor or Outdoor CoolFusion Projectors with 3 different Fiber Optic Loom Sizes. The Looms have 80 Tails (i.e 80 lights). The diameter of each tail fiber is 2mm. The Kit includes the CoolFusion Projector, the Loom, and Aluminium End Fittings. A 2 Meter Loom will give a total span of 4 Meters - if the Coolfusion is in the centre of the installation, a 4 Meter Loom will span 8 Meters, and a 6 Meter will span 12 Meters.
