This photograph is shown to illustrate the difference between the two colour temperatures. A good illustration is; white is like new paper, and warm white has a creamy look to it like recycled paper. White (top) and Warm White (bottom). Warm white gives a light similar in colour to that produced by halogens and incandescent lights (light bulbs). Warm white is best suited where a homely appearance is required, in a living room for example. White is generallly used when maximum pure whie light is required such as task lighting for drawing or artwork. |
