Colour Changing Flexible LED Tape

Flexible LED Tape has a very slim profile and be used with or without it's silicone sleave.

Waterproof to IP67

The Tape is supplied in a silica sleeve housing (waterproof IP67) with a self-adhesive backing. It can be used within the housing when there is a chance that it may come into contact with water such as in the bar area of your limo, or to protect it from customer's fingers.

For use in tight spaces where water resistance is not required the tape can easily be removed from its silicone housing by sliding a sharp pair of scissors along the housing.

Tape removed from housing, non-waterproof

The tape is extremely thin with a depth of just 2.2mm. It has a 3M self-adhesive backing so is easily applied to most smooth surfaces by simply removing the backing paper.

Ideal for: Lighting the bar area, behind the glassware, shelf lighting including edge lighting glass shelves, contour lighting, lighting architraves, under seat lighting.

The picture below shows how thin the LED Tape actually is.

The LEDs used in the tape are RGB SMD LEDs, which have LED Emitters in the 3 primary colours Red, Green, and Blue. By mixing various levels of each colour more colours can be achieved.

Safe low voltage - 12vdc.

The LEDs produce a wide light dispersion (up to 140 degrees) which gives a reflected glow similar to that of neon from nearby surfaces and objects. There are not dots or hotspots.

The tape can be cut or joined, connections and cutting points are at 3 LED (100mm / 4inch) intervals. Full instructions are included.

The tape can be cut / joined to make any length you need, connections and cutting points are at 3 LED (100mm / 4inch) intervals. Full instructions are included.

The LED Tape is controlled via the ICELED Flexidriver, it has a standalone mode which allows a gradually colour phasing, any colour can be locked by briefly switching the power off and back on within 1-2 seconds, to unlock simply repeat. Even more control is possible including sound activation by using the ZAP+ or ZEN Controller.

For simplicity we would recommend the ZAP+ Controller. Advanced setups such as zones will require a ZEN Controller. The Tape can also be linked to any of our other Mood Lighting products.
